Tai Chi Chuan is the world’s most popular martial art, famous for the slow, graceful movements of the Tai Chi Form.
We study a branch of the Old Yang style (also called the Quanping Yang Style) of Tai Chi Chuan which is descended from Master Yang Jian Hou, son of Yang Style founder Master Yang Lu Chan, which was passed down to us from General Lee Jing Lin, one of the most senior generals in the Chinese Army during the early part of the twentieth century. Significantly, Lee Jing Lin’s lineage bypasses Master Yang Cheng Fu and consequently our Tai Chi Chuan is fairly different from the popular modern forms of simplified Yang style.
It is one of a relatively small number of Tai Chi styles that are still practiced as complete arts, including the original fighting elements.
